Hinesburg's July 4th Celebration

2019 Theme - Red, White & Blue

Wed. 7/3 
5-8 pm Carpenter Carse Book Sale at Town Hall. 
RGH Plant Sale and Strawberry Shortcake at the Rock Wall at Town Hall. 
6 pm - Hilly Hobble Foot Race registration begins in front of HCS.
6:30 pm - 10k begins at bottom of Buck Hill Rd. West.  
7 pm - 5k begins at bottom of Buck Hill Rd. West.
7:10 pm - Kid's 2k race begins at Veteran's Park - Good Times Cafe. 
Race finishes in Veteran's Park.

Thurs. 7/4 
July 4th Parade 
9 am - 2 pm Book Sale at Town Hall sponsored by Carpenter Carse Library. Closed during parade.
10 am - Parade assembly begins at bottom of Buck Hill Rd. West & Rte. 116.
Please note Route 116 is closed 10:45 am - 12 pm.
10 am - 2 pm Silent Auction and 4x4 Painting Auction at Rock Wall at Town Hall.
10:30 am - Judging of parade entries.
11 am - Parade starts at bottom of Buck Hill Rd. West & Rte. 116, follows through village, turning onto onto Mechanicsville Rd., ending at Post Office. 12 pm
Book Sale resumes and runs through 2 pm.
Hinesburg Public House's Lawn Party - Music, food and beverages. 
1:15 pm - "Swearing-in" Ceremony for NEW Police Chief, Anthony Cambridge at Police Station. 
3 pm till Fireworks  - Lawn Party at HPH with music, games, and food. 

Dusk - Fireworks behind HCS. 
Mac's Sugar Shack "taco in a bag" grilled items, snow cones, along with Ken's Famous Fried Dough, Alex's Iced Tea and Sisters of Anarchy Ice Cream available in parking lot.
